Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Punakha
– Meet & greet at Paro International Airport
– Drive to Dochula Pass (10,500 ft) – panoramic Himalayan views
Visit:
• 108 Chortens – Druk Wangyal Khangzang
• Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple)
• Sangchen Dorji Lhendrup Nunnery
• Punakha Dzong (at the confluence of Pho & Mo Chhu rivers)
• (If time permits): Visit Kaja Throm riverside market
– Overnight Stay: Zhingkham Resort or similar, Punakha
Day 2: Punakha – Thimphu
– Breakfast at hotel
– Hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten (optional – 1.5 hrs walk)
Visit:
• Bhutan’s Longest Suspension Bridge
• Memorial Chorten
• Buddha Dordenma (51.5m statue with 125,000 mini Buddhas)
– Overnight Stay: Hotel Phuntshopelri or similar, Thimphu
Day 3: Thimphu City Tour
– Breakfast at hotel

Simply Bhutan Museum – interactive cultural exhibit
• National Institute for Zorig Chusum – traditional Bhutanese crafts
• Green Weaving Center – eco-focused women’s weaving cooperative
• Takin Preserve – home of Bhutan’s national animal
• Tashichhoe Dzong (after 5 PM) – official seat of Bhutan’s government
– Overnight Stay: Hotel Phuntshopelri or similar, Thimphu
Day 4: Thimphu – Paro
– Breakfast at hotel
– Transfer to Paro
– Hike to Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang Monastery) – iconic cliffside temple
Visit:
• Kyichu Lhakhang – one of the oldest temples in Bhutan
• Drugyel Dzong – historic fortress commemorating victory over Tibet

• National Museum (Ta Dzong)
• Paro Dzong (Rinphung Dzong)
– Overnight Stay: Hotel Olathang or Olathang Cottages, Paro
Day 5: Departure from Paro
– Breakfast at hotel
– Transfer to Paro International Airport for departure
Cancellation Policy
• 20 – 30 days prior to arrival: Will be subjected to 50% charge.
• 0 – 15 days prior to arrival: Will be subjected to 100% charge.

• Bank charges for TT transfers should be borne by agent/client.
• Credit card payment will be carrying a surcharge of 3.2% for Visa/Master cards and 2.5% for Amex.
