Basic Information for Spain

Are you a Bangladeshi citizen planning a trip to Spain for tourism purposes? If so, you must obtain a Spain tourist visa from Bangladesh. Documents required for Spain Visa:

1. Passport: Valid passport (issued within the last 10 years and with at least 3 months validity after the scheduled return; with at least two opposite empty pages); (if applicable). 1 copy of passport’s data page.
2. Photograph: Taken within the last 6 months (3 copies). The photo size must be 2/2 (met paper) with a plain white background. Must be facing the camera in the photo for the whole face to be seen. A hijab or uniform is not permitted.
3. Application form & declaration, original: Form must be duly filled in English.
4. Travel Health Insurance: Valid travel health insurance for your whole stay in the Schengen Area
5. Invitation Letter: Invitation letter from the person you are visiting in Germany.
6. Leave letter: The applicant must submit a leave letter of their company (if employed).
7. For Minors: If travelling unaccompanied by parent(s), consent letter signed by both parents & applicant. Form signed by both parents. Copy of the parent(s)’ passports data page and child’s birth certificate.
8. Bank Statement If sponsored then provide Commitment decleration (formal obligation letter) of your sponsor. If self-sponsored then submit Personal bank statements of the past 3 months with sufficient funds.
9. Proof of financial status: If employed – Pay slips of the past three months / employment contract. If self-employed: Certificate of Proprietorship or other proof of ownership (proof of land title, proof of income) etc.)
10. NOC: No Objection Certificate (NOC) is required of school/university (if student)
11. Airline Ticket Itinerary: According to the schedule and return, an itinerary has to be reserved for the applicant’s airline ticket.
12. Hotel Reservation: Following the travel itinerary, he or she must mention the hotel or resort.

Visa processing time entirely depends upon the time taken by the visa office while processing each visa application to its merit and may take longer than the tentative processing time.
